Nontoxic, Eco-Friendly Mattresses

We use the natural comfort of cotton, latex, and wool in our UltraKing mattresses. We offer certified organic materials as well.

Hypoallergenic Mattresses

We use a wide variety of hypoallergenic materials in many of our mattresses. We also make all-natural latex mattresses that are perfect for customers with allergies. Additionally, we have a great selection of hypoallergenic protectors to add on to any mattress.

Only the Highest Quality Latex

We use the highest quality Talalay latex available which provides a toxin-free, healthier material to sleep on and is longer lasting and body-contouring. Talalay latex is sap from a rubber tree and is naturally hypoallergenic, in addition to being dust mite, mold, and mildew resistant. Latex is a natural material and sleeps cooler than the typical foams used today in the majority of mattresses. Latex has the unique ability to be both supportive and curve-conforming, which means superb pressure-point relief.

Custom-sized Mattresses

We have the experience in building oversized mattresses, as well as custom sizes and custom shapes, per our customers’ requests — not only for residential and hospitality use, but also for yachting, airplanes and recreational vehicles.

No Chemically-based Fire Barriers

We pride ourselves on not using chemically-based fire barriers. One of our fire barrier options is a fiber-based material that is made up of rayon and polyester. A second option we use is a chemical-free wool, which naturally repels fire (and regulates body heat for the perfect sleep temperature).

What makes Joma wool so unique?

Sourced from New Zealand, the Joma wool we use has unique physical properties that give it superior performance and make it ideal for use in mattress manufacturing. It is hypoallergenic, fire resistant and long-lasting. This material naturally regulates your temperature and resists mildew and stains. Additionally, the processing of Joma wool requires very little environmental impact, making it an environmentally friendly material.

True Box Springs

A true box spring is a box constructed with real coils built in. True box springs are hard to find in the industry today, as most companies elect to cut costs by skipping this step. Our true box springs absorb some of the wear and tear of your mattress, which helps it to last longer. The box spring also helps your mattress to better conform to your body, for additional support and comfort.

The Right Coil Count

Coil count is a factor in overall coil strength, but it’s not the only variable. The number of turns to the coils and the gauge of wire are equal contributors to coil strength. To determine a mattress’s true quality, look at the materials used above the coils. Most mattresses today have  layers of thin, petrochemical based foam used for comfort on top of the coil system which compress and disintegrate over a short period of time. At UltraKing, we use layers of natural cotton that will last as long as the steel coils. We also build double-sided beds for even wear and greater longevity.
